All at an affordable price
Marina Phuket Resort has managed a neat trick with the Jungle View Rooms. It's magic - these luxurious units are both airy and spacious and cosy and intimate

Thai culture meets tropical nature
Airy & spacious
The generous floor space and high rattan and teak-beam ceiling is further expanded by big windows onto the expansive private deck outside and by large mirrors in the bedroom, dressing area and bathroom.
Cosy & intimate
Ideal for honeymoons, whether first or second, the Jungle View Rooms offer sumptuous comfort and total privacy. The dark teak floors, furniture and trim contrast pleasingly with light cream walls complemented by rich golden accents such as the Jim Thompson silk headboard panels. Other Thai touches include glass doors with gold-leaf appliqué.
The spacious window nook includes silk-upholstered sofa and cushions with potted bird-of-paradise flowers either side. An enormous wood-framed mirror on the opposite wall reflects the garden outside, providing the option, wherever you sit, of effectively bringing the jungle into the room.
Concern for guests' privacy includes deep garden between each Jungle View Room and the raised jungle walkways. Strollers and room occupants remain invisible to one another.
 Function never sacrificed to luxury
Lovely shaded lamps bracket the king-size bed. Additional gooseneck reading lamps, meanwhile, make reading in bed a pleasure, even if one partner wants to sleep. Throughout, the discreet lighting system - both beautiful and functional, like the rest of the design - can be adjusted to suit any mood.
Similarly, the lavish storage space is well designed and aesthetically pleasing. A roomy dressing area with white marble bench is expanded by yet another mirror.
The rich wooden floors extend into the bathroom, where a deep terrazzo tub sits amid lots of mirrors, one of them floor-to-ceiling, and into the four-hued tiled shower and toilet areas.

Quality local materials
Hardwood floors extend throughout the bedroom, bathroom and deck areas. The finest Thai fabrics and other touches of traditional Thai culture help to leave guests with treasured memories of their stay in the Kingdom.
The jungle
Each Jungle View Room is hidden in dense jungle. The original coconut grove of 22 years ago has evolved into a botanical garden, a flourishing ecosystem, home to a wide variety of wild species as well as putting a face to plants many people know only by name or by the fruit that appears in local supermarkets — jackfruit, mango, banana and more.

|
This botanical garden has also become a haven for wildlife, including a thriving community of squirrels and diverse bird life. Watch squirrels feeding on bananas, birds at the banana flowers — you might even glimpse a flying lizard gliding from tree to tree.
The whole setting is full of exotic mystery and surprise. At the same time — whether guests are strolling along the raised jungle walkways or relaxing on their private decks — the garden creates a cosy atmosphere, one that includes a sense of being in a natural cathedral, something akin to standing in a primary-growth rainforest.
Hi-tech meets traditional culture and nature
Each room includes state-of-the-art multi-media. A 32-inch LCD TV, together with a top-of-the-line Mini-computer, means that guests can enjoy everything from music, movie, games, digital photos, and international cable TV. The monitor hides behind decorative wooden panels when not in use. World radio, free 24-hour Internet, and in-room facilities for burning CD/DVD are also part of the standard Jungle View Room package. |
